Another day of planting bulbs in the new garden, another trip to Home Depot for dirt, and yet another day of planting when I get home from the Evil Day Job (EDJ) this afternoon. Yep, it’s true, we didn’t finish on Sunday. We did, however, finish planting in the new garden. Now we need to mulch it and then there’s the tree ring. For that one, we need to take down the chicken wire, get the leafs out of there, move the tiger lilies, and weed before the remaining 13 bulbs can go in. I’m exhausted just thinking about it. Hell, I’m exhausted, period.
Did anyone watch the Lost Book of Nostradamus on History Channel last night? Boy was that depressing, but unfortunately, it was also interesting and kept me up later than I meant to stay up–especially after working outside all weekend.
I think that’s all I have to day today. I know, I’m as shocked as you are.
I see you survived the pathetic World Series. *sigh*. I couldn’t watch after a certain point.
Hope the EDJ isn’t too bad today and you get your gardening done.
*sigh* You’re making me wish I had the energy to work in my garden. I’m Whole House Cleaning today. Trying to clear out the clutter (mostly mine) and dig my kitchen out from under…clutter. *sigh* I see a theme here.
And I love Home Depot. I could spend days just wandering around, imagining “if I had all the money in the world…what would I do to my house?”
Good luck at the EDJ.
Jen,
I couldn’t watch either. It was game 2 for me, when the Sox went up 2-1. I just turned it off and never turned it back on. I really wanted Denver to win.
Patti
Dayna,
Believe me, I’d rather be cleaning the house than doing what I have been doing. I’m soooo tired and I still have so much left to do.
Good for you on getting rid of the clutter! I don’t know how that stuff accumulates so fast.
Ah, yeah, Home Depot. Before I owned my own home, I never even went there. Now I look at the ads every Sunday and check them out online.
They’re insidious.
Patti
