   Thanks, Marie, Joely and Joyce! I definitely appreciate it.

   My dad was admitted to the hospital last night. He’s been released today, but will need to have a kidney removed, probably within the next few weeks. What we’re waiting to hear now is whether or not the cancer has spread. If it hasn’t, removing the kidney should take care of things. We’re hoping that it was caught in time.

   My grandfather was in the same situation as your dad almost 20 years ago now. He is more active than ever now and is now over 80 years old. I hope everything with your dad goes as well as it did for my grandfather.
